  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets defeated Centennial Cougars 13-0 on Tuesday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Brandon Holthaus induced a fly out from Blake Haugen to finish off the game.
  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets got things started in the first inning.  Big Lake Yellow Jackets scored three runs when Chance Halligan doubled.
  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets tallied four runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Patrick Doperalski, Matthew Chuba, and Eric Chuba and a sacrifice fly by Joe Rathmanner.
  • A single by Joe Cyzewski in the first inning was a positive for Centennial Cougars.
  • Mason Miller got the win for Big Lake Yellow Jackets. He went four innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out four and walking zero.  Holthaus and Tony Rathmanner entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
  • Chad Kienholz took the loss for Centennial Cougars. He surrendered nine runs on eight hits over three innings, striking out four.
  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets tallied 15 hits on the day. Chuba, Sam Dokkebakken, Rathmanner, and Chuba all managed multiple hits for Big Lake Yellow Jackets. Dokkebakken and Chuba each collected three hits to lead Big Lake Yellow Jackets.  Big Lake Yellow Jacketswas sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Luke Atwood made the most plays with eight.
  • Cyzewski went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Centennial Cougars in hits.
