  • Even though Big Lake Yellow Jackets gave up three runs in the seventh inning, they still defeated Anoka Bucs 10-5 on Monday. Anoka Bucs offense in the inning was led by Garett Hoffman, Josh Hintz, and Lucas Nelson, who each had RBIs in the inning.
  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets got things started in the second inning when Luke Atwood singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
  • In the bottom of the second inning, Anoka Bucs tied things up at two. Anoka Bucs scored one run on a stolen base.
  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets pulled away for good with one run in the third inning. In the third Dustin Wilcox's sac fly scored one run for Big Lake Yellow Jackets.
  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets scored four runs in the eighth inning.  Big Lake Yellow Jackets big bats were led by Tanner Teige and Sam Dokkebakken, all driving in runs in the frame.
  • Taylor Giving took the win for Big Lake Yellow Jackets. He surrendered five runs on five hits over nine innings, striking out two.
  • Ryan Johnson took the loss for Anoka Bucs. He allowed five hits and four runs over five and a third innings, striking out five.
  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets collected ten hits.  Dokkebakkenand Tony Rathmanner all collected multiple hits for Big Lake Yellow Jackets.  Rathmanner and Dokkebakkeneach managed two hits to lead Big Lake Yellow Jackets.
  • Hoffman went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Anoka Bucs in hits.
