  • Sam Dokkebakken collected five hits in six at bats, as Big Lake Yellow Jackets defeated New Germany Dutchmen 13-6 on Saturday.  Dokkebakken singled in the first, singled in the second, doubled in the third, singled in the seventh, and singled in the ninth.
  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets earned the victory despite allowing New Germany Dutchmen to score four runs in the fourth inning. New Germany Dutchmen's big inning was driven by a single by Reed Wischnack, a sac fly by DJ Danburger, an error on a ball put in play by Mitch Callister, and a double by Mike McGill.
  • In the first inning, Big Lake Yellow Jackets got their offense started when Aaron Kloeppner singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets put up five runs in the second inning. The rally was led by singles by Dustin Wilcox, Dokkebakken, Luke Atwood, and Patrick Doperalski.
  • Taylor Giving was the winning pitcher for Big Lake Yellow Jackets. He allowed eight hits and four runs over six innings, striking out nine and walking zero.  Mason Miller, Dokkebakken, and Tanner Teige all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
  • Steve Mielke took the loss for New Germany Dutchmen. He surrendered 11 runs on 20 hits over seven innings, striking out four.
  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets tallied 22 hits in the game. Dokkebakken, Kloeppner, Wilcox, Teige, Miller, Atwood, and Doperalski each racked up multiple hits for Big Lake Yellow Jackets.  Dokkebakken led Big Lake Yellow Jackets with five hits in six at bats.  Kloeppner led Big Lake Yellow Jackets with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with five stolen bases.
  • New Germany Dutchmen collected 12 hits on the day. Wischnack and Logan Mielke each had multiple hits for New Germany Dutchmen.  Wischnack went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead New Germany Dutchmen in hits.
