Wednesday, June 16th the White Caps traveled to Coon Rapids.  Scoring a run in the first gave the White Caps the early lead, but that was going to be the only run they could plate.  Coon Rapids got an unearned run in the second and another in the 3rd.  Mike Smith took the loss giving up only one earned run of the 4 that scored in his 6 innings of work.  Matt Loegering pitched the 7th and 8th.  In the 8th Coon Rapids scored 2 earned runs to make the final score 6 ’ 1, giving the White Caps only their second League loss.
