  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets defeated St. Michael Saints 7-2 on Monday.

  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets scored three runs in the seventh inning.  Big Lake Yellow Jackets put the pressure on, lead by a single by Sam Dokkebakken, a sacrifice fly by Joe Rathmanner, and a groundout by Luke Atwood.
  • Taylor Giving pitched Big Lake Yellow Jackets to victory. He went five innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out eight and walking zero.  Mason Miller threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
  • Jaylen Hakes took the loss for St. Michael Saints. He surrendered seven runs on eight hits over seven innings, striking out eight.
  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets racked up eight hits on the day. Dokkebakken and Kloeppner each collected multiple hits for Big Lake Yellow Jackets.  Kloeppner and Dokkebakken each collected two hits to lead Big Lake Yellow Jackets.  Big Lake Yellow Jackets was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Dustin Wilcox had the most chances in the field with 13.
