Big Lake Yellow Jackets wins contest against Montrose-Waverly Stingers on Saturday, 5-2

  • Big Lake Yellow Jackets notched three runs in the sixth inning.  Luke Atwood and Eric Chuba powered the big inning with RBIs.
  • Taylor Giving took the win for Big Lake Yellow Jackets. He surrendered two runs on three hits over seven innings, striking out three and walking one.
  • Jeff Keavey took the loss for Montrose-Waverly Stingers. He lasted six innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out five.
  • Chuba went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Big Lake Yellow Jackets in hits.
